not defending the cop or anything.
but you shouldnt make up your mind until you hear both sides of the story.
kids tend to lie to save themselves or to make something seem minute.
most likely they did something worse that just skateboarding to piss this guy off.
but thats just my logic.

i wonder what happened =/ i would've smacked the cop over the head with the skateboard...they had all the right too...

the cop put a 16 year old girl...prob 100 pounds in a ****ing headlock

No but then when he was saying your under arrest for blah blah he didn't say anything else, just like for resisting arrest etc.

From what we see it seems pretty harsh, but still like strangling them etc. he's ****.

they girl was resisting now that i see it again.
she tried to run but putting her in a headlock was taking it to the next level.

Yeah he shouldn't have done that to her. If you think about it though he was originally on his own so he probably felt, I can't really think of the right word but lets say intimidated so he tried to use brute force to scare them to stop them from doing anything stupid or something.

that cop is a dick, im fine with pigs cept when they hastle skaters and snowboarders, then i could stand to beat one, but yeah, i was in minneaplois for NGSBD and it sucked, we were riding around, and wham kids were getting taken down left and right, i got close lined then didnt even get spoken too. i was heated, if my camera woulda been in my left hand, the police woulda owed me 1g

I quit paintball and have been skatin for like 4 months now. When I saw this I was pissed. I still skate the streets whether the cops like it or not.

get use to it. us ( the skateboarders) will never have a chance against the cop for that. they can say we resisted. we'd be on either probation. or in juvee. a couple of my friends i was skating got probation for resisting arrest. when simply they went to go pick up there phones off th bleachers where we were skating. its bull**** that the police have a right to wrestle us to the ground for simply skating. its not destoying anything. my point: **** the police

It can be somewhat destructive but its not that bad. I did bust a chunk of concrete of a brand new 3 stair on accident.

but its a stair case. its going to break some how some way. everything in the world breaks/deterierates(sp) some how. its going to happen. and theres nothing the police/citizens can do about it. if they think by arresting us for having fun skating thinking we'll stop then their on some serious ****in drugs and ****ed in the head.

You know not all cops hate skaters. If skaters were respectful they wouldnt get trashed on so much. I have 4 cops in my family and none of them hate skaters, they hate people that disrespect them. When a cop is on the street trying to make an arrest they look for every movement, Cops always expect thge worse case scenario. So when the guy put his hand in his pocket, the cop was more than likely thinking "Knife, put him on the ground and keep him there". Its just the way cops are trained. So instead of everyone picking on the damn cop just think, what if he hadnt of done that and the kid had pulled a .22 calibur pistol out of his pocketr and shot him dead, then his family would be regretting this, everyone get you facts straight.

Ha. Like I'd agree to that. Doubt any skater would pull a gun on a cop, they/we have sense not to do stupid. wair repost: most of us have that ability. And also if a cop says "come here" do you have to listen? He is not telling yo to freeze which is the regulat clause and also, they usually will saw that you are under arrest and then take action.

Seriously, they always catch the cops messin up. I know sometimes it is the cops fault but i know SO many skaters who mess with the cops first and act stupid. I'm just sayin some cops just get tired of it and people don't see what the kid was doing before the cop was P.O.
