Rep Power: 0 | I've seen 3 karnis local, and i know everyone runs HP, but you can run one of the LP tanks with a high recharge rate... i know as of a year or two ago, legion air, cross fire, and centerflag were the ones, but I know there are a few regs that have come out that should be great too, like guerilla air and some new centerflag that seems to be in limited suply | PBN Feedback - PBV Feedback If (DeadStr8Paint)

and if your saying it's just internal damage, try 3 diffrent sets of hoses, and a full rundown of EVERYTHING. The thing was still running way to high, and stretching the hoses. But it may just be my gun. dont now, but i would reccomend low pressure on an ion. | $$Ca$h Money$$ |

Rep Power: 0 | the angel mini reg takes lp, i think the 05 and up angels have normal regs that work fine with hp
and the ion runs off hp fine.... i doubt theres enough wrong with ur gun to cause the hoses to stretch... its the same pressure everywhere after it goes through the regulator | PBN Feedback - PBV Feedback If (DeadStr8Paint)

Rep Power: 0 | Ok HP and LP doesn't have anything to do with recharge. It has to do with how much air is coming out of the tank. The recharge rate is in the reg.
Now if your gun can operate on 200 psi like ions and impulses and all high end guns, then low pressure is fine because it puts out 450psi- which is more than 200. The secondary reg (your inline reg) takes that 450psi coming out of the tank and knocks it down to the pressure it is set on which is what the gun will run at.
So LP tanks have better air efficiency because there is 4500psi per square inch in the tank and only 450psi is coming out at one time. So if you have an HP tank, it's sending out 850psi, when only 200 is needed.
If you have a Tippmann or a Spider, you need HP because the gun operates at a higher pressure than what a LP tank puts out. So you would be starving your gun for air. But since most guns operate at lower than 450psi, then a LP tank will work fine. | My Setup:

Rep Power: 0 | Take for example Max-flos. The adjustable kind, not the manifold and not the in-line. They are adjustable and you can set them to the right air pressure to run in your gun. That's why they don't need another reg.
So to sum all of this up-
LP will work for any gun that operates lower than 450psi, but HP will work also.
You only need HP for guns like Tippys and Spiders because they operate over 450 psi.
HP and LP doesn't have anything to do with recharge or shootdown unless you're starving your gun for air (like I said- a Tippmann on LP)
LP tanks are more air efficient because they use less air per shot than HP. | My Setup:

Rep Power: 0 | pickleguy... very true, but the tank has a recharge rate too, higher pressure tanks have better recharge rates, so the low pressure tanks with high recharge times end up starving ur markers, and its not more efficient, ITS THE SAME AMOUNT OF AIR, just that less is being let out (and this causes earlier drop off, because the recharge rates drop, and the recharge times grow when theres less pressure behind it, already half the pressure of an hp tank), and the same amount of air is being used. u dont want to use an lp tank and starve ur reg of air, then its just a mess of drop off because u starve ur hpr which starves ur lpr (that does make it more efficient tho, when ur shooting 100 fps)
so in conclusion : dodgy:
-lp tanks are no more efficient than hp tanks
-lp tanks have a greater chance of starving ur regs and causing drop off (especially with less air in the tank)
-AND WHERE DO U GET OFF SAYING THEY GIVE LESS AIR PER SHOT!?!?!?!?! ur marker uses the same amount of air to fire even if its lp or hp, u can take a gun with a balanced hpr and chrono it with an hp tank and chrono it with an lp tank, same velocity
lp tanks were made so that u dont blow up ur regs, that was a while ago, now people are getting good at making things fool proof now, not much need for an lp
stop saying lp is better when its only better if u dont have another tank, ur lp is going to give u dropoff when u get around a 1000 psi left, and u have to refill, so if anything, ur lp is less efficient
