Rep Power: 0 | Barrel Kit poll (I see alot of people asking what barrel to buy) START POSTING YOUR REASONING... Just wondering why everyone thinks that the barrel is better.... whether its the more bore sizes over accuracy, weight over the amount of bore sizes, weight over accuracy, looks over everything else, idk fill me in
Alright, heres the deal, vote for what you think is the best barrel KIT
This means if you vote CP or Ultralite or etc, assume this means they buy the barrel and all the backs/bore sizes they make
Post up suggestions on what barrels to add if you don't see one
What you are going to evaluate the on is the best combination of Accuracy, Noise, Efficiency, Look. (Basically the look, honing, and porting) and whatever else you can fathom | PBN Feedback - PBV Feedback If (DeadStr8Paint)

Rep Power: 0 | i like the freak kit, you can put inserts in the back plus if you buy a new marker with a dirrerent set of threads you can purchace and new back and keep the rest of the kit and use the old inserts (corret me if im wrong)
I would say the freak kit is the best buy. | -Evan "Pickle" $GoLd MeMbEr$PBVCrew$

and I would prefer a pepperstick kit or a matchstick kit
match stick is 4 backs, 3 fronts
pepperstick is 4 backs, *edit* "2" front, and a squeegee
but the match stick is better honed and the peppersticks have longer backs, i'm not sure lol | PBN Feedback - PBV Feedback If (DeadStr8Paint)

Rep Power: 0 | ^ I agree the it is better honed but the freak is better variety wise and longer lasting as in you can use it for multple markers.
Smart Parts has made great barrels for a while and I think they did it best. | -Evan "Pickle" $GoLd MeMbEr$PBVCrew$

Rep Power: 0 | I already have the Freak kit, and the UL smokes it, I'm getting the Peppersticks and I'll let you know if that smokes those too
although the only disadvantage that the frek kit has is that its heavy, but the **** loads of inserts is good too, even if you dont need most of them | PBN Feedback - PBV Feedback If (DeadStr8Paint)

Rep Power: 0 | ok, well Ive shot alot of barrels cept the pepper sticks, and I want to try one badly!.
Stiffi kit- Ok, its a great 1 piece barrel, but the bore for the gun, is a 1 inch screw on insert, not that great of a back.
freak kit- AWESOME design, on just swaping the inserts, well the S.S backs and inserts are haeavy, there more durable than aluminum. Only bad side is the spiral porting, when you chop the barrel dosent self clean after a few shots like most barrels, so when the paint exits the gun it has a curvature because of the porting.
UL kit- Weather you have titanium backs, or ultralight backs there going to shoot the same.. AMAZINGLY, one of the better barrels on the market. Dye no longer offers a wide range of backs, now they reduced it to 3, and the stock DM backs. (.682?, .688(stock dm back), .689, .693.)
Matchstick- Never really shot a matchstick, nobody has them arround here, so cant say anything about them.
Pepper stick kit- havent shot one yet
shaft- Great stock barrels, one of the better ones that come on the egos. I havent shot a kit, but the shaft one piece is a great barrel, its up there with the UL.
Cp kit- Great kit, a little expensive, and has the weird looks to it, but they shoot nice, great porting, and honing.
Empire- THe kit gets pointless after a 7pc, the 11pc is not worth the extra money. The empire 7/11 pc kit dont include alot of individual bores like the freak does, they carry different sizes for some odd reason. Your better off buying the 4pc kit.
Kaner- decent, The old kit was alot better than the new ones IMO, and they looked cooler. It is a good kit, long backs, but there a little odd shaped. One of the better kits. (similar to the match stick in looks)
sceptor kit- Nice, shoots better like the freak, same type of inserts.. Its a bitch to clean all the paint out of them tho, even with the Easy clean pieces.
Long bow- never shot.
Evil pipe kit- Great self cleaning barrels, if you chop, they shoot normal after a couple shots, they have a strange signature sound, and the fades look a little off. Covers alot of the bores available.
Lucky 15 kit- GREAT kit, covers the 3 basic bores, small, med., large, and its a 15inch 1 piece barrel. Shoots great.
If I forgot any thing, oh well... The better kits are, pepper sticks, lucky15, Boom box kits (ul/titainum), cp, and empire. Of corse price varries, the boombox kit being one of the more expensive ones on the market. | 2k2 ace'd kapp flame matrix. FOR SALE/TRADE

Rep Power: 0 | Of the ones I have expierience with:
Stiffi - lightest by far, accuracy: shots stay within a square foot of each other, looks cool
Freak (What I own) - Many inserts cover all paint sizes, two different kinds of fronts, accuracy: shots stay about an 8"sq of each other
And to answer a previous question, yes the longbow is indeed a sniper kit | | |
