| it clutters up the page. Alot of people skip the stickies to go straight to the more active threads.
This is the "suggestion box" right? My "suggestion" is to maybe review the threads to see if they really deserve to be stickied still. It would just make the spam room look cleaner and be easier to surf. I've been on forums for a while and I've noticed the front page threads will always be more active. Once a thread drops to the second page, it is less likely to get going again because most users like to post in the front page threads. If there are less stickies, there are more new threads on the front page, thus increasing their longetivity.
Just a suggestion...
Edit: You could also just edit the threads to clean it up. For instance, the points FAQ and pooh's points thread could be merged together. Then you could close and place links to the "net language definitions" thread and "free stickers" thread in the rules sticky. The vet only team thread is basically dead, as is the "post pics of yourself" thread, so those can be dealt with accordingly. Request a sig could stay, as can the hobo fundraiser (if it is still active). Thats one plan
